As a UX Researcher & Designer (f/m/x) you will help our clients to shape the best user experience for their products & software - working closely with product managers, other designers, researchers and engineers.

As UX Researcher & Designer at notallbad, you will:

• Work on user-focused, design-led initiatives helping our clients transform their businesses and develop digital products, online and offline services.
• Conduct user research and translating research insights into actionable insightsInterpret data from qualitative research to reduce assumptions, identify jobs-to-be-done, and help the team to deliver an experience that users understand and enjoy
• Shape user flows, design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, test your artifacts with users and help our clients shape intuitive user experiences for disruptive new products and features.
• Lead & facilitate product discovery activities such as exploratory research and discovery workshops
• Partner with product managers to define and evolve product roadmaps
• Work closely with engineers as you build, iterate on, and ship ideas
• Support & lead client's internal teams, coordinate from within the project teams of core team members and freelancers

Your profile

• You are curious, humble, adaptable and enjoy working with other people.
• You already bring some experience in remote work, or at least you find the concept of remote working intriguing
• You enjoy leading the research and the design for new products, but also helping existing products grow.
• You ask many questions and are keen to dive deep in any matter to discover what's behind any answer.
• You stay calm under pressure and know when and how to say "yes", "no" and anything in between.
• You are selective which battles to fight, when to keep trying and when to give up and move on.
• You feel comfortable experimenting with new & innovative concepts, but also, trying well-established practices and existing guidelines when needed.
• You love and show respect to all animals and don't feel uncomfortable when dogs join some of our meetings, when you are visiting onsite. We are a dog-friendly company, where we are all allowed to bring our 4-leg roommates at work, and we 'd like you to feel comfortable when visiting us.
• Based in Germany or Europe with the ability to work from home and/ or travel occasionally after CoVid-19
  

You join us with:

• +3 years of relevant experience designing digital products, services and systems, not just websites.
• Experience and methodological expertise in planning and conducting research, facilitating workshops, and leading design decisions that are focusing on accessibility, usability and desirability.
  
• An appreciation of the entire product development process, from problem-solving through visual design with a strong focus un UX
  
• The ability to create and update wireframes and (digital) prototypes using Sketch, Figma, etc.
  
• A good understanding of how to balance gut feeling and data to decide
  
• Experience in working with remote teams as well as freelancers, designers, researchers, project and product managers and engineers
  
• First-class verbal and written communication skills in English and German with the ability to eloquently articulate strategy, concepts, and rationale in a comprehensive and understandable manner
